Well sort of, today I was flicking through/reading the Daily Mail at work (that's a newspaper and a the second is a job, incase people wondered ) and I came across this article;

Now, to sum it up; Batgirl returns (was assasinated about thirty years ago) but now she no long wants the hunk of Batman but.. is gay. That's right folks, lesbian. I found it slightly odd that a comic strip felt the need to include the characters sexuality into their world - whatever next, sex scenes? DC comics on the top shelf? Come on...
So who will buy it? Or the bigger questions is, who will buy it because it has a lesbian in?
Anyway, to add more to this.. what made you laugh today? Post something and try and make others laugh.
Yay for political correctness :rolleyes:
I read the grand total of zero marvel comics so I dont really care but still its amusing.
""What's the matter? Don't ya like clowns? Don't we make ya laugh?" - Captain Spaulding.
Lol I'll buy it! Damn it's only America
And just to let you know, it's because of the *cough* heroine in her fight against bad guys...

The lesbian angle is probably two fold, to dispel any possibility of a resumed love interest between Batman and Batwoman and to allow the existing lesbian character (Renee Montoya) to have a little fun.
As a long term Montoya fan I think she deserves to be loved by someone who isn't Two Face.
