What on Earth? Help me figure this out.

I just saw this on Kontraband.

    Buried Giant

Mad props to anyone who can help me figure out whether this is real and what it's supposed to be.

    I am highly skeptical.

It is something that could be faked without a fantastic amount of difficulty.

I know, I'm hoping someone's seen some news articles/documentaries on whatever is in the clip.

What are those ruined buildings doing all the way up in the mountains?? That would be very hard to build, let alone live in those conditions.

It vote its fake for sure.

Why hasn't anyone thought of the fact that giants aren't real?

    Reminds me of AVP!

I heard they were remaking 'The Thing' do you think it could be that?

(John Carpenter's one can't be beat but that's just IMO)

You're wrong. That's not just your opinion. That's pure unadulterated fact. Practically every line in it is quotable, the suspense is amazing. I sincerely hope they don't make it again now. Because if they did, McCreedy would be a woman, fall in love with someone, it would be set in New York, and the thing would somehow be Islamic terrorist related....
    anyhow, I digress..

Man, I love stuff like this. It probably is a fake  but for that split second.. you wonder and consider.

    I love that feeling.
