I'm doing a paper on Games Workshop's effect on society, and how it has affected myself.
While at school I cannot access the GW home site, but I can acess forgeworld and various other sites.
I will do all the recearch, I'm not asking for you to tell me. All I want is to beable to find informaion about each part of the company and talk about how they have affedted the society.
This is the out line that I've made so far.
b.People/ Branch Companies
c.Current/ where they are now
iii. What they are doing to make the games better
Thank you SOO much in advance!
That's an excellent start

You also may want to include an section on motivation.
Also, I'd add a section for the gaming and hobby aspect of Tabletop gaming as well.
People don't immerse themselves in very expensive hobbies for no particular reason, now do they ?
Make sure you stick to what your title is asking. Simply putting down everything you know about GW will make for a poor paper
Also remember Black Library, as they do AT LEAST as much for the GW games, as forgeworld do!
Also I agree with stonehambey! You should treat it like any other paper.

Thanks for the replys, I forgot about the black lib., I'll have to check that out since I have yet to be there.
I'm not trying to spill everything out about GW. I'm just trying to make a paper explaining how it's changed the society as we know it. I may also put in a bit of their financial history, from here:

You may wish to delve into the background a bit. After all, it is the rich and devloped background universe (s) that set GW games apart from the pack and attract a large part of its fanbase
"You're very interesting, and very perceptive. So interesting, and so perceptive, in fact, that we shall now fight with KNIVES!"
"I've been dead long before you were born, and I'll be dead long before you'll be dead!"
I'd say you should really include more about how Games workshop has affected society (and yourself), as that's what the paper is really all about. From what I can see in your outline, there is very little about that, and alot just about GW. You only need a small section about GW, no more than half your paper I'd say, and the rest should be about their effect on society (and you). Otherwise you'll get marked down for not sticking to what the paper is about.
Just a thought
Here's a link to the GW Group for investors.
Much more informative than the actual GW site about impact in real terms rather than information about the games.
