Ryan Dancey, Vice President of Wizards of the Coast, believed that TSR failed because of "...a near total inability to listen to its customers, hear what they were saying, and make changes to make those customers happy." Are you listening, Games Workshop ?
They're calling the storm a "supercell", the highest category of storm available. Experts say that the storm is consistent with theories on global warming and increased severe weather.
Uni is closed until monday. It's not the ice that's the problem, it's the fact that a lot of buildings have holes in the ceiling right about now.Dear Student
The storm on Tuesday night caused damage to some 70 buildings on the ANU campus. Damage ranges from relatively minor to extensive.
Owing to the damage to our teaching spaces, the University will not conduct lectures, tutorials or laboratory sessions on Wednesday 28 February, Thursday 1 March or Friday 2 March.
Wow, we've had some pretty odd weather in England too. I think the M20 was closed today because of marble sized hail.
Climate seems much more real nowadays. Thanks for the cool pics.

When I say jump you don't ask me 'How high?' maggot! You jump!
Tell me about it Onlainari! I was leaving Kendo at the ANU, ans just missed the storm. I missed Kendo today because of the closure.
That storm was insane. Last day of summer, but still. Woah. We've had about a week of storms here. Global warming is insane.
Yeah, weather does seem to be getting more extreme. Earlier this year, in the middle of texas, we got 3 days off from school for snowstorms. Basicly here is the earlier snow rundown. We had 1 storm when I was 5 and after that every 3-4 years we would get an ice day. Then about 3 years ago we got a snow day and an ice day every year til this one. That is like triple the rate of winter storms we've had.
I like the closed sign written in snow.
