    Eurofighter

    Hey guys,

Just thought some of you might like this. I was ill last week so I got a model kit to keep me occupied, it's a 1/48 scale Eurofighter from Revell. I really love this plane, it's got to one of the nicest looking fighters in existance. I'd love to know what you guys think of it. Here it is:

    nicely done!

didn't notice this before but it's got a kind of mig-feeling, doesn't it? look more like a russian plane then a european-american jet

    Nice work, Will!

I think it looks more like a MiG because of the engines being a lot closer to each other, and of course the wings do look more than a russian variant than an NATO.

I think it's Mig-esque because it's quite alot like the old Mirage's and Saabs. Quite alot like the old Flogger aswell. Still love it to bits ! Maybe I'l do a tornado next, a big scale one. I usually have a model kit just to do on the side when things get slow, it's like doing a jigsaw or a puzzle for me. Nice and relaxing .

and a bit cheaper than WH, making it more relaxing to paint (=you don't have to worry about fcuking up a very expensive model).

i've been thinking about painting a tamiya tank... something russian, might just do that now!

on a side note, if you think GW is expensive, look into modeltrain sets a simple locomotive can cost you more than a 100 euros, with some loc's costing 300! {goofy} thank god im not into miniaturerailways

Nice work there, the weathering is superb. Btw someone mentioned Tamiya tanks. Well Tamiya tanks are fantastic, great detail and good price, you must see them to believe me.
Here is a site for you : http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/plamo/
Well it's a Japanese online shop but at least it's offering an inside view of what the models look like, great to find the level of detail of Tamiya tanks.

Yeh I've been considering doing a super weathered tank. I found the most amazing book on painting armoured vehicles. But it's really just a guide to super awesome weathereing, it's photorealistic. Actually, I'll put a link up in the painting section, everyone would love it!
