[hero]Hunter - 225 Mawseeker, Gutmaw
[hero]Hunter - 195 Mawseeker
[hero]Butcher - 155 Halfling cookbook
[Spec]Gorger 2x1(2) (compulsory)
[S&Rx2]Rhinox 2x3(6) - 774 Bull Rhinox (x2), Thunderlord (x2), Heavy Armor(x6)
[Cx2]Ogre Bulls 2x3(6)
[Core]Ogre Ironguts 1x3
[Core]Gnoblar fighters 1x32
I'm debating on the gnoblars thinking of going with a larger fighter unit instead of the trappers total number of models is 29.
going to be outnumbered but I'm just here to have fun, I like the rhinox riders and the hutners they are just there because I like them.
Skrag is there because I need magical support and in order to have magic and multiple hunters I have to take him. the butcher is just to add to the magic phase.
Gorgers are compulsory I tried to fit 4 but they replace the iron guts I'm not sure if its a good choice or not.
Bulls are compulsory.
the main plan is to hide behind terrain, and after the magic buffings head in with flank attacks. 14" charging hopefully I can pull an overrun to keep from getting shot at too much.
with not much to work with, any feedback of what to expect would be appreciated.

Your going to have to change your Trappers to fighters in order to make the list legal. Trappers don't count towards the core minimum.
And butchers don't get big names.

I will look up the fighters at home but I am pretty sure that there is no note next to them saying "Don't count towards minimum core" next to them. Maybe you could look that up for me. You do have the book don't you?
whoops that's supposed to be 2x3 next to the bulls noting 2 units of them at 3 models each.
I edited the unit composition to reflect correctly how many models are in each unit, and selection
Ahhh. that's better but the butcher still can't have a big name!
I don't see where they can't have a big name, could you help me out there?
It's not going to say that they can't have one. It doesn't say that they CAN have one. If you look you will see, somwhere (as stated Idon't have the book in front of me), that it says tyrants, bruisers and hunters can have big names. If I had to wager I would say that it says where the Tyrant, Bruiser and Hunters' point allotment for magic items would say.
Ah I see it now, specifics overrule general.
as long as the opponent is okay with my butcher being "stupid" shouldn't have a problem, any reason you'd not allow a butcher to have a big name? other than the RAW?
To be honest, it's a weird list.
The hunters don't really complement Skrag's strengths. He works well with butchers.
And too few Ironguts.
Reduce the number of bulls to minimal. Give them a musician and keep them at US 3 or 4. Maybe extra hand weapons but not much else.
