We're playing 2005 points (most of the people were over by 1-5 points, so they decided to give it to everyone), and I'm looking for an Ogre list that's fun. Here's what I've been using recently, and so far it tied the first game (against Vampire Counts), and won the second (against Tomb Kings).
Tyrant w/light armour, Tenderizer, Wyrdstone necklace, Jade Lion, Mawseeker, luck gnoblar
Bruiser with Great Weapon, Heavy Armor, Greedy Fist, Battle Standard
Butcher with 2 Dispel Scrolls
Butcher with 1 Dispel Scroll
4 Bulls w/Bellower
4 Ironguts w/Bellower
4 Ironguts w/Bellower
4 Ironguts w/Standard bearer & Look-out Gnoblar, Bellower
20 Gnoblars
2 Lead Belchers
2 Lead Belchers
One butcher attaches to the unit of bulls. The other butcher and bruiser attach to units of iron guts. The Tyrant attaches to the unit of iron guts that has the gutlord and standard.

Hmm, im no Ogre expert, but reconsider your Butchers... 100pts on Scrolls, what if you happen to face dwarves? True, they may be useful, but only once per game each. Possibly keep one or two, but the thing i dont get is why everyone overlooks another possible use for Butchers:
Your Tyrants cant reallly get much good armour, so so what if your Butchers cant,, their Statline is sill amazing compared to most enemy Lords! let alone Heroes... so build them for combat! Use their magic in an offensive manner, grab a third for 5 Dispel Dice, place ach in a unit of 3 Bulls (no command, well, maybe a Bellower) Have Bulls with Add HW and no more, cheapest best option for offence.
Have your Tyrant (though maybe save A LOT points and get a Bruiser) in a unit of 4 Ironguts. Again, no command really needed imo.. Music possibly.
Maybe grab another unir or two of Gnoblars for numbers.
The Leasbelchers are good, though i think id agree with your thought to drop a unit.
Finally, Gorgers are ace Are they a 2-for-1 rare choice? I cant remember. Either way, consider a Giant (DoW as opposed to slave if possible as they get stubborn)
It might be the situation, but I seem to fight against a lot of magic heavy armies, like Vampire Counts, Tomb kings, and the like. I want to have at least 3 dispel scrolls total.
Hmm...I like the idea of adding 3 more bulls, and running the butchers with the bulls, rather than the Ironguts. I edited the list to make room for the changes.
Thanks for the help!
Its a real waste to equip your butcher with dispel scrolls instead try skull mantle. Also droping one of the units of bulls would also be a good idea bulls are decent but remember guts are our offence. Last thing try tinkering with leadbelchers/bulls and try to squeeze in a bruiser BS.
The reason I took 2 units of bulls is because I wanted to try running the butchers attached to them, apart from the Ironguts. I originally had the butchers in the units of Ironguts, but I don't really want them in close combat. I could detach them as they get close, I suppose, but they'll be in danger, and I'm not sure what else to spend the points on. I could spend it on the Tyrant, but I didn't want to overload him too much.
What do you mean by Bruiser BS? I already have the Tyrant, isn't that enough? I could also add another leadbelcher, get a scraplauncher, or convert some maneaters with pistols, instead of the unit of bulls.
Oh! You mean a bruiser with a standard. Yeah, that actually sounds pretty good. I'll look over the codex and see if I can work that in.

How's this look? I dropped a unit of bulls, and added a bruiser with a standard. Now there's going to be 4 units of bulls/iron guts, each with a hero attached. How's it look? Too many heroes? What do you think?
since you have the BSB, your tyrant shouldn't need Fistful of Laurels. Also You can't to the sam magic item twice (the Greedy Fist is on the tyrant and bruiser), Probably put Gut Maw on the Tyrant instead. Also you should always be using the Wyrdstone Necklace (5+ ward save FTW for basically nothing) so put that on the Tyrant. And i personally like the Tenderizer over the Siegbreaker on my Tyrants buts more expensive to its up to you
And drop the Gutlord, its to expensive i say
How you have the greedyfist makes it useless. You need to combo it with the wyrdstone necklace and a luck gnoblar, since the ability to eat magic items counts with ward save it gives you more chances to actually eat that item. As you have it if whoever you fight has high strength you almost never eat their item.
Lookout gnoblar is a must for your tyrant's unit. The first time a great cannon hits your tyrant in the face and you don't have a lookoutgnoblar you'll curse yourself.
And the classic tyrant with tenderizer, greedyfist, heavy armor, wyrdstone necklace and a luck gnoblar is barely 25 points more than your current guy, but 100% more deadly.

After hearing some advice, I've decided to drop the gutlord and change the Tyrant a bit. I'm just going to forgo the improved armor save and instead give him the Jade Lion, Wyrdstone necklace and Mawseeker big name to protect him. I've also given him the Tenderizer, to help him kill heroes and larger beasts.
Thanks for all the help! Any other advice?
