That is very similar to my list, and it is pretty successful as far as ogres go.

depending on what you're fighting, a pair of gorgers might go better than 2 manteaters. But so long as you've got a role for them to play 'tis all good

my plan for the 2 maneaters is to sit with the butcher, that way the only guy by himself is the tyrant... well for part of the game anyway turn 1-2 he may just hang out with some guts and then walk out to get ready to flank a unit. movement 7 with unit strength 6 on a charge plus all those nasty attacks could really mess a guy up.

fair enough, just bear in mind that the butcher's spells have very short range so they really need to be in you're centre near the front, using them to hang back isn't using them to their best. Having him in a stubborn unit is a good move, you might want to experiment with their weapon choices seeing as they will end up in combat and 4 shots a turn is not great, although the +1A in combat is nice. I like the bull gut, it always seemed a bit counter productive to me though: the unit str. 6 screams to be used for lone flank charges, but makes the armour piercing useless as you need to be a unit of 3 ogres to cause impact hits. Ah well.

Really? hmm i missed that in bull charge rules, well just the same he can still be a flanker and help to out number smaller units, having total unit strength of 15 for 4 models is kinda nice....

oh yeah, I really wonder though about the effort the game developers put into our hobby. [/rant]
