Just finnishing up the touches on my new wood elf army and have been having a great time with them. But my heart aches for my ogres I left behind. They were called Bloth Gorebelly's Sellswords, Mercinaries exdordinare! I had alot of fun building and coming up with fluff and character for the army and I think I got rid of them before I really gave them a chance. Sure Im not going to win every game, but by god ill have fun either way! So here it is my next fantasy army is my revisit to ogres in the form of Bloth and his wandering tribe of sellswords:
Lords & Heros
Bloth Gorbelly- Tenderiser, Gut Maw, Wyrdstone Necklace, Heavy armor, Brace of handguns, Luck gnoblar
Butcher (Battle Chef)- Siegebreaker, Skull mantle, Luck gnoblar
Butcher (Cullinary expert)- Halfling cookbook, Dispel scroll, Luck gnoblar
Butcher (High priest)- Bang stick, Dispell scroll, Luck gnoblar
3 Bulls (Bait)- Bellower
3 Bulls (switch)- Bellower
3 Ironguts (Personal Guard)- Bellower, Rune Maw, Lookout
3 Ironguts (Sellswords)
20 Gnoblar Fighters (Meatshields)
20 Gnoblar Fighters (Snacks)
8 Trappers ( Eyes and Ears)
2 Leadbelchers (LOUD NOISES!)- Bellower
2 Leadbelchers (Fire support)- Bellower
2 Gorgers (Tooth & Claw)
= 1999 pts
So can I make this list any better? I play a wide range of armies in my area and want to be as competative as possible at the 2000pt lvl. I like to have fun with this army but wouldnt mind pulling a win out once in a while. Also wondering what I could switch around to fit a scraplauncher, or yhetees in there? I havent used either but would love to try. Also what should I do with the butchers as far as placment and tactics? So who would like to help and old Tyrant get off his feet, whip his Sellswords into shape and win some battles for the MAW!?

2500pts Emperors Children
1000pts Dark Eldar Cabal of Agony Eternal
Hey the first thing I wanted to point out was that your list looks very solid. However, I do not understand why you put the luck gnoblars on the butchers, as they don't have any saves so there is no real point to those. I am trying to figure out a way for you to fit in a scraplauncher and the only real way that I see viable is to...drop the luck gnoblars on the butchers, drop the equipment off of the battle butcher (he would be the equivalent of a iron gut [a little better], but I am just trying to move points around), drop a leadbelcher then move the other one into a group of three, drop a unit of gnoblar fighters, then drop the luck gnoblar off the tyrant also...that makes out to exactly one scraplauncher; you just have to decide if it is worth it!
Very solid list regardless
Man you'r really gonna hit hard with your gut magic there. It's good that you use gnoblar fighters who i find to be very underestimated by a lot of people. I mean at 40 pts they always earn their points back at least by holding a corner. Back to the list. With my experience of ogres I find that even though the gut magic is awesome when spammed on your units, it's not gonna win you any games. They lack any kind of powerful offensive spell which means that the butcher alone is not going to earn you any VP. The buffs are quite decent but to benefit from buffs you'll need units to throw them at. In your list there's only two small units of ironguts and if one of them loses just a single guy from shooting (which your buffs won't protect you from as your opponent has his magic phase to dispel your Trollguts) they'll struggle to beat decent units in combat. I'd suggest that you drop one butcher and add another unit of ironguts at least.
The scraplauncher is amongst the coolest models in all of warhammer (I always field one for that single reason) but it's not much worth it at it's high points cost. But if it survives the hard cannonball rain which it will often be surrounded with it can wrech havoc on the enemy. Field one if you like the model and the fluff but in a competetive tourney i would'nt recommend one.
Coolt list anyways, I really like your setups on the characters!
