I already have a VC and Dwarf army, but I have always been interested in the ogre kingdom models, I think they just look awesome So, after 2 other armies, I have finally decided to join in on the slaughtering and devouring that is the Great Maw.
I always want to have a solid list first, with as much feedback as I can get (Both on the list itself as well as playing tactics), before getting the models and assembeling/painting them.
Alright, on to the list then. There is only one club inhouse rule really: No Special (Named) Characters, only 'generic' lord/hero choices allowed (No Goldtooth for example). Furthermore, 2K is a much played size of battle in our local gaming club.
First try, here goes:
Mawseeker, Tenderizer, Greedy Fist, Wyrdstone Necklace, Heavy Armor, Luck Gnoblar
Butcher #1 (190 )
Butcher #2 (190 )
(All butchers are equipped with 1 Luck and 1 Tooth Gnoblar)
Ogre Bulls 3 (XX)
Iron Guts 4 (202)
Iron Guts 4 (202)
Leadbelchers 3 (175)
Maneater 3 (270 )
Gnoblar Trappers 8 (XX)
Gnoblar Fighters 20 (XX)
Ok, that comes down to 1999. I really love the maneater and Leadbelcher models, but are they effective enough?
As for tactics, straight forward charge with the units of Ironguts each containing 2 characters (Butcher and Butcher/Tyrant)
Let me know what you guys think and what to change. I dont have any models yet so everything is open basically. I just want a good list before I am commiting my time and money in it
Thanks in advance.

not a bad list, a bit illegal. a few things tho, you may find that 2 butchers is often good. our magic is cool and unique, but easy to dispel and hurts your guys. i find that sometimes players just let me get off my spells to get some wounds on my guys so they can kill them faster.
maneaters are good, but really expensive and the get shot at a lot.
I'm not a fan of leadbelchers, they have good potential but often fail me because after they find out how many shots the fire they still have to roll to hit.
personally i like to keep my fighting units at 5 -6 strong. 3 naked bulls are good for all sorts of stuff as well, and if you find you have points left over give them 2X the hand weapons.
one thing that is missing from your list is the gnoblars. they seem week but they are great for so many reasons. you don't need lots of units but having at lest one is cool. you may find that the trappers are a good choice because
1. the can march block
2. they can hunt war machines
3. they loses combat really easy so they can pull units away from the main battle line with ease exposing flanks and giving your units a good charge .
you may also like the scraplauncher. large template KB? YES!! just keep him moving around the table cashing after weak stuff and then when the time comes charge a flank some where.
oh ya BTW you have 3 rare slots
5000 Pts of Undeath descend upon you....
Ok, thnx for the advice. I have edited my list a bit...Please keep the feedback/input coming, I want as much views on it as possible!
