your core is not the minimum 25% of the army shy by about 100 points

also id suggest swapping the butcher for a firebelly... give you some offensive magic and they are cool lol

other than that seems a good list

id maybe suggest loosing the man eaters or lead belchers to save the points and increase the size of the IG and bulls to the core requirements and free up some points to add on heros

but really well done on a solid list apart from that

Thanks for the reply! Always wondered how leadbelchers are? I've heard mixed reviews really! Have u any experience with them? If I had to I'd loose those rather than the maneaters I think.

    Thanks

lead belchers are hit or miss. wither they are amazing in the game or rubish... though ive found its rare they make thier points back fully.... same sadly with man eaters... my lists tend to focus around IG and Bulls as they are the units in the ogre book that makes points back...

leadys are good to pepper units and disrupt the rank bonus and can be amazing against armies with T3 crap armour

man eaters pistols can be good for causeing one or 2 wounds on key models. i tend to kill off BSBs with them but much more than that i dont rate them

they are very expensive which stops the unit size being enough to cause to much damage on the battle line.

Ok I've had a play about and here goes my updated list...

    Lords

    Slaughtermaster
    Level 4
    Fencers blades
    Glittering scales

    Heroes

    Bruiser
    BSB
    Heavy armour

    Firebelly
    Level 2
    Dispel scroll
    Seed of rebirth

    Core

    11 ogres
    Bellower
    Standard bearer
    Ironfists

    8 ironguts
    Bellower
    Standard bearer
    Standard of discipline

    Special

    4 leadbelchers
    Bellower

    6 mournfangs
    Bellower
    Dragonhide banner
    Heavy armour
    Ironfists

    Rare

    Ironblaster

    Ironblaster

    Thundertusk

I've ended up at about 2650 points which means I need to cut! Problem is will I cut the firebelly or the leadbelchers?! Those are the 2 that ive considered cutting.

    Thanks again

I would cut the leadbelchers, your ironblasters more then make up for them.

I would cut 2 of the Mournfangs.. Kind of an odd way to run them at 6.

Do you run them 3x2? In that case, you lose the attacks from the rear Mournfangs. Do you run them 6 wide? Thats extremely clunky! 4 Seems to be the optimal way to run them. The other way would be two separate units of 3 each but then you can only use the dragonhide on one of them.

I personally love leadbelchers. They always work wonders for me! I'd rather have 8 than just 4 though.

Also, where are you putting your Characters? Your units seem to be an odd number to bunker them. Maybe drop a bull so you can run it 4x3 with 2 characters in it and drop an iron gut so you can run it with a character in a 4x2 formation? Not a big deal but youre gonna have odd unit shapes. I'd drop a cannon for more belchers, and more ironguts (for a 4x3 formation).. But hey thats exactly what I did in my list so I may be biased!
