I've got an question. Would a Cathayan longsword or a great weapon be a better weapon load for either a Maneater or a Tyrant?
With the Cathayan longsword giving it's bonuses, and at a -3 AS modifier vs a +2 Str, -4 AS modifier, and always strikes last for the great weapon. I know it depends on the role I want them to play, but with enough Ironguts on the table, I think I have enough str 6/7 on the table for any big bad chariots/monsters. So what do ya'll think....
Great weapon all the way. Not much can stand up against str 7 attacks. And because he's so tough (especially with Mawseeker on the tyrant) you're less worried about him taking damage before he gets to strike.
Maneaters, I used a mix of weapons just because of the models I had (ninja, female, pirate), but I know lots of people who like brace of pistols because they get excellent rules...the range of a handgun but the rules of a pistol.
