Brand new to warhammer and to LO. Just bought the OK regiment box and was wondering if anyone has had success/ideas about converting some of the bulls to ironguts/buthcer/tyrant. I've gathered from the Forums that bulls are pretty much useless in regards to ironguts, so I don't want to use all six models as bulls. Thanks guys
Well you'll find that alot of people Convert the bulls into Bruisers or butchers, its really easy with a little GS for a Butcher all you need to do is sculpt a belly and/or a aprin stick a whole lot of the Extra knifes around his waist and use the bellowers head, of coarse thats just basic, you can Add a Orcs and goblins Ork gob plate and have some stump weopens Etc. just for some extra stuff.
and for bruisers all you really need to do is Reposition the legs (if you want to) chuck on some extra weopons and use a guts head, and maybe sculpt some extra armour.

From what I've seen, the O&G pieces tend to work really well. For a Bruiser, I'd say work on getting him a good amount of extra armour, and maybe also a few trophies of some sort. Bits from the Orc boxes should come in handy here, as will green stuff.
In honesty, there aren't really any laws governing what makes an acceptable conversion and what doesn't. If you think something looks cool/mean/domineering, go for it. Don't worry about what your opponents think - generally as long as some effort's gone into it, they'll allow it, unless you're in an ultra-competitive group.
Dutchie hit the nail on the head, though. I'd be following his advice.
