Hey everyone. I recently started on a new Warhammer project (Been a while).. however, I'm waiting on some magnets to show up for that project (Magnet Heads for my DE Hydra to use as Wounds counters, etc), and since I have to wait for those to show up for that project I thought about my other more favorite army, The Ogres!
I realized I have a lot of spare heads laying around from smaller manling units (DE, HE, Empire, probably some Skeletons, and Gnoblars), and I decided that I could create some pikes and spear some old useless noggins to them and use them for wound counters for my Ogres. Help me from keeping track with dice all over the board.
Has anyone else implementing any type of wound counters for your Ogres?
I'm lazy and just use dice (the BoFA dice ARE so useful for something), though these sound interesting. Post pics when you're done!
I just put a die on their giant base to represent it
i just use dice too.
BUT, I did model some awesome looking gut-magic tokens for the toothcracker, trollguts, and bull gorger spells. Anytime I play with someone, they always ask if i had to special order them...hehehe. With a little extra time and some greenstuff I have some sweet broken teeth on top of a pile of rocks, freshly ripped out rhinox hearts, and trollguts splatered on the ground.
Now that I think about it, I do have some extra ogre bits that I might make into wound counters.... like the heads on stakes idea
