Got my copy early, so I decided to let you all in on little tidbits early as well.
Ogre Charge: If the charge dice add up to 10+, each ogre inflicts D3 impact.
Ironfists: A shield that grants all bonuses as normal, even when mounted
Tyrant: Slightly more expensive base (105% of old), but all upgrades became cheaper.
Slaughtermaster: A bit more expensive (125% of old), level 3 with upgrade options. CAN be a general.
Buiser: Reduction in base cost AND upgrade costs.
Hunter: Reduction in base cost, has upgrade options.
Butcher: Another base cost reduction, level 1, with more upgrades.
Ogres: Replaces "Bulls". Same stats, costs less, start with light armor and have cheaper upgrades. Are no longer a 1+ requirement.
Ironguts: Same as before, just cheaper.
Gnoblars: Tiny bit more expensive, Trappers are gone, and are a unit upgrade that make all enemies charging the gnoblars in the front arc take dangerous terrain tests.
Leadbelchers: Cost reduction, cannons now fire D6 shots (no more misfires), are slow to fire, do not require 1 turn of reloading, and have doubled their range.
Maneaters: Yes, they are now special. The also received a HUUUGE point reduction (over 30%), get an awesome special ability (Been There Done That: Pick 2 USR from a list of 8 ), and multiple upgrades.
Yhetees: Another large point reduction. Lost scale terrain, gained swiftstrie and flammable.
Gorger: One of the few with a point increase that is worth noting. Lost bloodscent and ravenous.
Gnoblar Scraplauncher: Point reduction. Now uses small template, still KB
Giant: Point increase, but is no longer a Slave giant.
Now to touch on some of the awesomeness that was not in the last book. These are listed in no particular order, and I will not be giving full details on each one as to keep LO out of trouble.
Ironblaster: Awesome cannon. Roll 2 artillery dice for bounce and pick the one you want. Grapeshot is stronger than normal.
Stonehorn & Thundertusk: Pretty much revealed everything in the white dwarf.
Mournfang Cavalry: Pretty sweet. Not cheap by any stretch, but the Mournfang adds +2 to the save.
Sabretusk Pack: War beasts. Low Ld.
Firebelly: More expensive than a butcher, base lvl 1, has upgrades.
Skipping the special characters. Will touch on one though. Golgfag. His 2D6x10 magical items special ability is real. Does not count towards his points cost or overall points cost. Just free gear.
Magic items got slightly neutered. Smaller list, and favorites like thundermace got more expensive. Hellheart became a late game changer. Gnoblar Thiefstone became far more expensive, but has added bonuses that may just be awesome, depending on what you get.
Finally, Gut magic, or as it is now called, Lore Of The Great Maw. Still have separate +1s and +1t augments (no more remains in play), still have a panic test, and still have a regen. Sig spell is stubborn, and big spell is an I test, that pass or fail, models under the template take a hit. Lore attrib is recover a wound for each successful casting.
Well, there you have it, some of the big things. I could go further, but you will all have this book in a few days. Also, mods, please edit/delete this post as needed to keep LO out of hot water.
The day will not save them. And we own the night.

OMG!! YES!! i went my local GW and i was like OMG!! im really looking forward to actually buying the new codex.
I am really lookng forward to using Leadbelchers in combo with bulls, Lead's soften the target, the bulls charge, the butcher buff the bulls. Sounds really fun and a lot more tactical then previous
I went to my local GW today & i got myself a copy of the new Ogre Kingdoms codex & i've gotta say they look AWESOME hehe, although i feel now that my brothers Ogres are going to have Skaven shish kebabs & Lizardmen burgers for lunch lol
haha but i was severly disappointed when looking at the images, although they look good, they look cartoony and rushed :/. To me it seems as though they made a couple of new kits, put the existing models in resin, and made a poor effort of the new codex, I however have not read any fluff, so i could easily be wrong. anyone else agree?
The images would be half a A4 piece of paper, put a picture on it and say look guys Its a disappointment to see Games Workshop producing these codex's, you can tell they put less effort into them. Again i have read the fluff, does anyone else agree? Or am i uptight and rampaging ogre :/
