Was wondering what are your thoughts on the maneaters? What are some good load outs for them?
Well with the new rules for ogre charge, swiftstride makes sense to give you better chance of getting 10 on the dice. I also like not having immune to psych or stubborn, cos they flee when you want em to now. Scouts isn't bad either just so you can put em down as a counter in your own deployment. Weapon wise additional hand weapons are real good points wise, but no point buying em for any back ranks because they wont get to use them so pistols if anything
Well, I know for a fact that when ever I am against Teclis I am taking Man eaters with Scout and Sniper...
12" away, hope for first turn, 2nd if they don't realise what I am doing. Give my Man Eaters Pair of Brace Pistols and hitting on 5's wounding on 2's with Teclis getting no save. This could even work well against Night Goblin armies, Skaven armies and Tomb King armies (Although they probably have a ward save plus harder to wound).
I also like the idea of poison when fighting high toughness monsters...
They are costly though, so I wouldn't suggest spending too much on them unless you know that they will make their points worthy.

I'm all about giving them a brace of handguns, poison, and sniper. Then marching them in 3-4 man lines next to my horde and sniping wizards/generals/banners out of the front rank. Then using them to flank charge/prevent flank charges. But I've heard good things about scout/sniper as well.
I've seen a host of setups, but one of the ones I'm a big fan of is 8 Maneaters (4x2) with heavy armor, single pistols, Swiftstride, and ItP. Swiftstride dramatically increases your chances of getting D3 Impact Hits per Ogre, you have a TON of S5 attacks flying around, along with a bit of shooting if you need it, or if you're the one getting charged. Some nice banners for this unit include the Banner of Swiftness (M7 + Swiftstride is cavalry-level mobility) or the Flaming Banner (monster hunters extraordinaire).
