For the fur and skin you'd first want to prime it in a white spray paint and then give it a layer of dheneb stone. Then have a watered down wash of Gryphonne Sepia the top bit of the fur and then a simple light dry brush of a 50:50 mix of Bleached Bone and Dheneb Stone. This would be very simple but give it a good effect.
The inside skin from underneath the normal skin you could do in any colour, ive done mine in a Tallarn Flesh and Devlan Mud wash and i think it looks good.
Most of the wood and straps are in Bestial Brown and Scorched Brown with Badab Black wash.
The tusks are Adaptus Battle grey and Charadon Granite.
Im sure you know who to paint the ogres and other little bits.
Hope this helped
and make sure you post pictures!
thanks for that! I'll be sure to post pictures once i get round to it. Could be a while though
About 10 mins before reading this post, I thought about putting up a thread about something very similar, but more of what scheme people were painting their thundertusks and stonehorns.
Mine is fairly different than the normal colour, so when I get home I will take a picture and post it up here.
May the Dragon of Unhappiness never fly up your bottom.
