Well I would like to know if you people think the concept of the new Ogre Kingdoms army is good or not? By good I mean a valid idea. I do not want to turn this into a thread ranting about how Wood elves or Chaos dwarves should have gotten their army books first (no matter how true it is )

Edit: Sh*t, treat yes as good and no as bad please. This is my first poll

I vote YES! It is good or bad.
Or hang on, I really should vote no, shouldn't I? As the idea clearly is neither good nor bad.

......
Fix the poll.
I kill two dwarves in the morning, I kill two dwarves at night. I kill two dwarves in the afternoon, and then I feel allright. I kill two dwarves in time of peace, and two in time of war. I kill two dwarves before I kill two dwarves, and then I kill two more.

I think it looks like a rather neat army.
I'm not someone very dependent on fluff, but they where pretty sudden. I was like.. waiting for Woodelves, nanananaTHERESANENTIREKINGDOMOFOGRES!!!½!!!

Yeah, it's an interesting army, but it just shows how bad Games Workshop is at being in this industry. They shouldn't have released Ogre Kingdoms untill they had finished Wood Elves. I have just gone from Wood Elves to Lizardmen because Games Workshop is too busy working on bells and whistles of their game, that they are not doing quality controll.

how does OK show how GW is bad in this industry? what it does for them and the warhammer world is open up the path from ye Olde worlde to the eastern kingdoms of cathay and nippon.

i think OK is a pretty cool army but like all the rest has to start from somewhere and the fluff i've read about them so far seems to have them fit in rather nicely.

Its funny because while it has angered WE players,GW's other forgotten race the chaos dwarves are mentioned ALOT in the fluff, there is a map of their empire alongside the ogres and cathay in the OK army book, and apparently the ogres even trade with them. This has opened up new hope for a CD army book in the future. Sure GW hasnt talked about it but they went from cutting out CD from the fluff for several years to mentioning them twice in one year in detail, and even releasing a chaos dwarf model with the hellcannon which looks wonderful.

Personally i think the WE's wouldnt be out now even if OK hadnt come out,so meh

Well in my opionion ogres are bad, they are just giant grey orks come on. Underneath all the fluff you can pull on them you will find that they are bad.
In the end there is only war.

giant grey orcs
Yeah I know what you mean. The main reason I hate the OK is because they take away the uniqueness of Orcs and gobbos. Giant brutes herding little pets into battle all the while screaming and trying to keep the force together. Who does that sound like??

ogre Kingdoms = Space Marines for fantasy.

Ogre kingdoms = Pewny orcs no match for me stupid! me so... shove knife in skin fun!

I think their modles are cool and all havn't read any fluff tho. Also this might mean exspensive race modle wise. you get 30modles for 250-350dollers. atleast space marines diffrent chapters.
