What colour have you painted/plan to paint your Gnoblars and Ogres?
Mine will be:
Clothing: Browns, Blues, Grays
Skintone: Catachan Green (Studio scheme)
Clothing: Browns, Blues, Grays
Brown/Bleached bone with green static grass
Whats your scheme?
I am painting my friend ogres in a kind of dark flesh colour with imperial purple tattoos and mainly brown clothing. I am painting them for him because he never will and I am sick of playing his white sprayed wood elves I am going to flock the bases and add gnoblars and rocks etc.
The gnoblars I am unsure about which green to use as I have about 6, I may even go go goblin green for flesh as I have plenty of practice painting goblins. I think reds and blues for the clothing.
Helper monkey, bring me beer and donuts
I've painted my ogres skin in codex grey and and their clothes are shadow grey, bestial brown, catachan green or scab red, and their armour is brazen brass with blood and rust. Their tattoos are white coloured.
My gnoblars skin colour is shadow grey and the colour of their clothes are random.
Their bases are bestial brown rim and the top is grass like.
I'm not totally sure about the skin color, probably a greyish tone
Their clothes will be scorched brown and skull white stripes
Blood red tattoos, representing blood from a communal pot they use as "magical" war paint
Chaos black hair
Gnoblars will be catachan green
bases will be a mixture of snow and small patches of frosted grass.
Here I am, Rock you like a Hurricane.

Ogre Kingdoms 4/1/1
Word Bearers: 2/0/0
Well when it comes to the skin tone for my ogres all i know is that I am not doing anything that looks like human flesh.
I have decided this because on other ogre forums i have heard many people say that they are making their ogres human flesh colored, but in my opinion it just makes the ogres look lke a bunch of overweight humans. When they arent supposed to be human.
I will most likely try to paint them some sort of greyish blue colors.
"I am the architect of fate!"
i tryed the studio way u know the sallow colour but i put lil to much shadow grey with the graveyard earth and now there blueish grey.
although except for gnoblars. my ogres are going to have all different tones of skin
Pants and clothe: earth orange to mid tone orange
hair: C. black with little bit of bone highlights.
that is realy it

02:53] *** psteve has been kicked by Knape (star-whatever this... courtasy of the gao'uld)
Skin tone: Light grey.
Clothing colors: Red and black.
That's about it for now.
Thus far i've only painted one ogre but here's what i've done:
Skin: Kommando Khaki over a black spray basecoat, next cover that in chestnut ink, next drybrush Rotting Flesh over that. The resulting color looks VERY close to the cover art ogres.
Clothing: reds and blacks
Metals: brass and silver
Hair: Black and grey
A bright glossy blood red skin paint with some red ink (like the gutrippers shown in the OK Codex, but all of their skin) and on the shoulder blades are carefully painted white star tatoos.
