Me and my friend are both starting warhammer fantasy, and although we have a good time, we're at eachother's throats to win during the game. We play 40k as well but the rules seem to be much different in fantasy.

The dwarves look like pretty tough buggers for being 9 pts, 3+ save and toughness 4. Their entire army is very heavily armoured. I was wondering if I could get some advice on what I should base my army on against him. Mind you im not asking you to tell me what exactly to use, but some general advice against them would be nice.

PS my other friend is starting vampire counts so any advice on them would be great, thanks.

Welcome to ogre kingdoms! If you're just starting out, I'd read up on the following links to get a feel for how they play:

    Hope that this helps!
The iron crowned is getting closer,
Swings his hammer down on him,
    Like a thunderstorm he's crushing,
    Down the Noldor's proudest king.

Under my foot, so hopeless it seems.
You've troubled my day, now feel the pain.
