I've been playing ok for 3 months now and i keep getting screwed by skrimishers and flying units. Skrimishers especially when i play against my friend who plays Beasts Of Chaos, he also uses furies just to yellow water me off. Am I missing something or is this a problem with everyone.

Whenever I move up, they just move right behind me and through forests and slow me down. Should I just keep moving and let them rear charge me when I am in combat and when im moving u as well?

Please help me out I keep losing to this.

That is a problem with ogres though, they have no fast cavalry or real missile troops so dealing with skirmishers/flying units/fast cavalry is tricky. Try putting gnoblars on your flanks as you can afford to lose them and your opponent is unlikely to waste a unit of skirmishers to try and engage them, that way your ogres can run straight down the middle and bash stuff. Or keep a unit of leadbelchers behind your main line of advance to blast the crap out of them.

Yeah, in larger point games it might be worth it to make a long line of gnoblars protecting all of your sides! That would get you into combat without taking too many wounds from ranged, and you'll break charged from calvary and skirmishers. Plus it would cost like 80 points max to make sure all of your sides are protected. But then you would have an ass load of gnoblars to paint.

for skirmeshersi would use large units of about 24 gnoBLARS o the flank to clean up any small units of skirmeishers.

I've had a lot of problems with Pegasus Knights and other flyers, and the same tactics basically work, small units of flanking ogres, gnoblars, and luck with the dice.
