Thats what happens when you let your staff go to the pub at lunchtimes, look what they come up with :p I dread to think what their rules will be like, whether they will be a character mount or god forbid as a unit.
Helper monkey, bring me beer and donuts
well they are the chariot type of thing, so they could easily be the OK version of it, whitout gnoblars firering random junk. or simply uber chavalry like the plagueridersOriginally Posted by Lurch
I think it would be kinda funny to take a giant ogre and stick it on a pony, and watch the poor beast strain at the knees. MMMMWWWAAAAHHHHHAAAAAAAHHHHHAAAAAAHHHHAAAA
The Ogre Caralry would be big, fat and ugly. Worse than the current Ogres.
Kill one man you're a Murderer.
Kill ten you're a Monster.
Kill a hundered you're a Hero.
Kill a thousand you're a Conqueror.
I liked the cavalry, but I didn't like the fact that it dwarfed (pun intended) the ogres, the poor ogres can't even swipe at the troops on the ground because they're so high up. I like the idea but they should make the animal smaller.
Ogres revel in their bigness, so making their mounts smaller would see silly to them, they'd want to ride something of their stature of greater. As for not reaching the ground with a swipe, maybe they can ride side saddle... or shoud be equipped with spears instead? :hmm:Originally Posted by Bane_of_the_Mon'keig

Now thats a good idea. It would look so much cooler too if they carried great spears. But doubtful if they'll actually do it.
well mounted ogres seem to use regular hand weapons on the models, but they simply would cause chariot impact hits, as a rhinox can dish out quite some punishment.
