    Brets vs OK

    Alright my friend has just recently started collecting fantasy, as brettonians, but since he is a dedicated wargamer, and very very good I am just a little bit worried (I peed my pants)
    so any ways, I don't really remember his list right now but I can tell you basically what it is now and tell the full list later I don't know how im going to beat him though.

    Paladin bunch of stuff that makes him super leet in cc

    damsel, or whatever it is, (the sorceress one)

    7 knights of the realm

    20 something man at arm unit with (spears?)

    16 bowmen

    and i think another paladin
    it comes out to about 1000 points anyways

    But what I am so afraid of is his knights, on the charge they will be winning a combat with pretty much anyone I have and and then I will retreat and then he will run me down, anyways tell me anything I should do to destroy him and here is my list

    Bruiser, heavy armor, skullplucker, two sword gnoblars, luck gnoblar

    3 bulls, bellower, standard, crusher

    4 ironguts, bellower, standard, gutlord, war banner

    24 gnoblars, groinbiter

    4 maneaters , hvy armor, and I'm not sure if i should give them, great wpns, pistols, or cathayan longsword, plz help there.

    A couple of changes I can think of for your list:

    - Remove the standard from the bulls to save some points. Add another bull.
    - Equip maneaters with great-weapons.
    - Drop the skull plucker from the bruiser and give him a cathayan longsword and ironfist instead.

    Tactics: Stick your maneaters in the line of fire for the charge - they are stubborn and immunie to psychology so if one is still there after the charge, you'll keep them engaged. Keep your bulls and ironguts on either side of them (one to the left, and one to the right) and charge the knights from both sides. If his men at arms threaten your ogres, move your gnoblars to counter them and when an ogre unit is free smash them into thier flank. Bowmen shouldn't be too much of a problem and should be taken out last of all.

    thanks that actually helped alot, makes sense too i mean men at arms and bowmen aren't really much of a threat so yeah whatever but the knights i was really worried about but with that i should be able to break them in one turn! hooray huzzah, also the cathayan longsword and ironfist make more sense, thank you, and the great weapons should chop up those knights!

    i dont know too much about brets, but are u sure you wont have too much trouble with that wizard? cuz unopposed wizzards can often be very powerful. maybe you should field a butcher for defence or a gorger for wizard hunting.
