I'm buying a Ogre Rhinox cavalry guy and have fashioned a lance using the pole that the standard carries and attaching the blade from a ogre sword to the end of the pole and it looks sooo BAD-@$$. Does it seem realistic that they would use lances or does it go against the fluff. I would like to know before I put it on the model (because its so expensive!).
Ummm...not realy but I could imagine an expectionally fat ogre tyrant riding a monster (since he's too fat to walk) with a lance. Now that would be fluffy :p
You could also get the special ogre character and saw off the drum stick he's holding and give it to the rider.
Man this is gona be an awesome conversion, good luck ^_^
"Heresy is like a garden weed, it won't stop feeding until you... BURN THE WHOLE DAMN GARDEN WITH A FLAMER, BURN IT, BURN IT TO HELL!!!!!" "Is there a wittle puppy in the garden? ITS A DAEMON! BURN IT!"
I really wanna put it on the regular rhinox rider instead of the thunderlord, but either way its still cool.
The only reason I can see an ogre would use a lance for, would be as a tooth pick ^_^
No, the lance would be proportionate to their size. DUH
Not to sound dense or anything, but where, if anywhere, are the rules for Rhinox riders published?
I have seen the Forgeworld models (gorgeous) and I have seen the entry in Army Builder, but for the life of me, I cannot find their rules published anywhere.
WHFB: Dwarfs || WH40k: Imperial Fists, Necrons || WM/H: Trollbloods || BFG: Necrons
they are supposed tobe on frogeworld, but I've looked and I can't find anything.
Could someone please provide a link?
