I don't think so, and I think a lot of people will agree with me. Without stubborn, this thing is a huge points risk. Remember too that it has no armor (like other giants) so it'll easily get shot to pieces by any wily generals. Plus, when you have maneaters and gorgers competing for those precious rare slots, it's hard to take the big guy. I'd never put one in my army.

I like slave giants. But thats just me.
I take one in my army list as mine will usually see combat and then when there they are hard to shift. Especially against smaller cavalry units.

When the army box first came out they were friggin awesome as they were prolly the only way to get to 2000pts w/o buying every single upgrade for everything, converting bulls into heroes, or buying a second army box.

I think they still are pretty amazing. It is a bit disappointing that they are not stubborn but what can you do?
    I like them!!

My Tyrant has Giantbreaker so it's essential i take one, personally i've found that the giant does more in Ogres than it ever did in my Beastmen.

in BoC it was a no-brainer what to shoot, now it's a lot more difficult for my foe since they don't want the Ogres near them either and they've heard Slave Giants suck.

anyways it's given them a nasty suprise before now!
    I still hate Twiglets!
