hey, i usually play HE but im starting to get bored of them and i thought i might change pace and pick up some OK so i got a quick question. I dont really know to much about them just some stuff that i read about on here er w/e but for my first list i think im just going to pick up the codex(obviously)/battalion box/a tyrant/ and a gorger probably. anybody see anythin wrong with this err got any advice? thx.
BOOM! Hur hur hur...
Nothing wrong at all. That's just how you should start - another thing, read the sticky thread tactica guide by GrimbogElfAter for some great beginning advice. Plus you can ask most people on here they'll be happy to help you out of course .
"Well... that hurt" - Vampire Jon Skellan (Mannfred's right hand man) after being beaten up, falling down an underground waterfall and being impaled by a stalactite.
Those models are great starters. I finally played my first two games with my ogres after buying them slowly for a period of six months or so. I've gotten my tail kicked, but I know that I'm going to like them.
thx guys. umm i got another dumb question whats a bruiser? is that just like a big guy to lead ur army like the ninja dude or the gross ogre lady with the big stick? andd to use a tyrant doesnt ur army have to be like 2000pts er somethin? soo would i be better off to get a ninja dude er somethin instead?
BOOM! Hur hur hur...
Firstly a tyrant is a lord so yes you can only use him in 2000+ but he is 0-1. The bruiser is your main hero. The ninja dude:ninja: and ugly lady with the stick are maneaters. They are a rare choice so you would have to choose between them or the gorger(I would go with the gorger). Ogres take a while to get used to so dont get discouraged if you lose your first 50 battles like I did. You'll find a list that works for you.
I have seen the Death Company: wild-eyed berserkers, who tear their enemys limb from limb, crush skulls with a single blow, snap spines and rip out organs. The Blood Angels are indeed ancient and terrible and only the foolish do not fear them.
