    Rhinox rider?

This is kind of a stupid question but i was just wondering what a rhinox rider was. Ive seen the name pop up in a few different threads and I looked at the OK miniatures range on the GW website but they were nowheres to be found, are they even out yet?

    BOOM! Hur hur hur...

The Rhinox's look awesome. Where can you find the rules for them?

I just looked at them recently, on the Forgeworld site. There also in a white dwarf issue, but I don't know which one. But just go to the download section of forgeworld and you'll find them.

Wow, they seem like a pretty tough unit. Imagine 3 of those charging around your flank...devastating.

They'd be deadly on the flank. I wonder what size base they're on? 50mm, I'm guessing? If so, that would make it harder for all three (assuming you took that many) to get into btb contact.

The only thing that's not so hot is their WS and ld, which is the case for all ogres.

But if you did get into contact, you'd have 9 attacks from the riders, or 10 with a thunderlord, at str 4.

You'd have 12 attacks at str 6 from the rhinoxes. Plus impact hits counting towards combat res. That's pretty nasty.

Yeah, and that should definitely be enough to take the unit out of combat. Plus they cause terror. Weighing in between 450-500 pts for 3 models though...I still think it's worth it.

Their movement restrictions would make them tough to pull off a lot of flank charges with, but you're right, they sure would be fun to play with.

The models look awesome. I was even going to order one although I don't have an ogre army 3 in a unit is big and expensive for what is a relatively slow moving cavalry but if you do get a charge off it will be very messy indeed.

Do you guys think it would be worth having single Rhinox riders around to use as a sort of chariot type unit? This may be limited by minimum unit sizes- I'm not sure what the minimum is.
No more NG spearmen, thanks! Now I need some pump-wagons!
