I was looking at pictures on the GW website and they dont have a pic of an ogre bruiser. Then I typed ogre bruiser in on google and it came up with a link to a sample army on the GW site and I clicked on it. The army had a bruiser in it and the picture of the bruiser was the same as the picture of the tyrant that I was looking at in the ogre miniatures range.
Heres the question:
What is the difference between a bruiser and a tyrant?
a Tyrant is a lord level character, while the bruiser is only a hero, the one model is good for either one, so don't worry about it.
But don't the tyrants have better statistics and are worth more points than a bruiser?
And is there nothing Id have to do to differenciate the tyrant and bruiser?
Warhammer doesn't quite work like that. And is there nothing Id have to do to differenciate the tyrant and bruiser?
As long as the model is armed the way you've armed it in your army then its fine. You can even use special characters as their normal equivalents as long as you tell your opponent.
At the beginning of each game you must inform your opponent what your different characters are. Though you do not have to inform her of their magic items and such.
As another example lets take empire swordsmen. I could model mine with one handed hammers and say they are swordsmen. Since both are classed as a type of hand weapon this is okay. I could not give them spears and say they are swordsmen though b/c that is an entirely different type of weapon and would be confusing.
So is their a different weapon for a tyrant and a bruiser?

Now thinking of it. GW always puts one in the army box but not the orges.
