new IG rpg idea

im new to here but ive done online rpging before. i dont know if you have to be experienced on LO to run an RP, so correct me if ive mistepped. my intent is to run an original rp ive never played before, and so i thought up something i think is original. you will be members of an IG sentinel squad, piloting your vehicles in various missions. this is your chance to voice interest in the RP, let me see if theres enough to devote my time to rping.

edit: ill go ahead and lay down some specifics. Depending on the amount of interest there will be either one or two squads of three, though due to the nature of sentinels they will have alot more freedom than just staying with their group the whole time. there will be a squad leader for every three, though he will not have complete control over his squad of course, due to the nature of sentinels. he will give orders but must not be a dictator, and the others should still have alot of freedom. You will be part of a special Grenadier army sponsored by techpriests, so will have some special upgrades.
once you designate your name, personal equipment, appearance, and background, then select your sentinel weapon, the patterns are all modified Mars patterns.
Heavy Flamer
Autocannon
Multi-laser
Lascannon
Missile Launcher
aw heck, you can even choose Rocket Launcher or a heavy lifter arms variant if you have your heart set on it, though they are more specialised weapons.

additionally, you can pick two of the following upgrades for your sentinel.
Extra armor plates
Closed ****pit (not open topped)
Speed enhancement
Custom gravchute, (lets you hover along up to ten feet in the air for up to a minute, before needing to recharge for five)
Lasgun turrets (two little machine spirit operated lasguns that can be activated for defence)
Frag launchers (Defensive weapon, when activated ejects a ring of shapnel grenades around the sentinel, damaging unarmored targets in close proximity.)
Spotlight
Smoke launchers

also each sentinel has a pretty decent repair kit that you can use to repair your sentinel, and an emergency crude grav/extensor system on each leg to allow you to hobble along if a leg gets taken out, these are the elite advanced sentinels of mars after all!

Hell, sounds like fun to me, I love sentinels.

My sentinel would be armed with a multi-laser and have the lasgun turrets (where would these be mounted by the way) and the speed enhancement.

I'll need a little bit more time to work out background, appearance and equipment (do we choose equipment from the IG armoury?)

I think I'll watch this one from the sidelines, though its an interesting idea. So iamspartacus, do you intend on playing in your RP or will you be governing in god mode? (GM for the RP instead of a player.)

Also remember that this is a worldwide forum, so dont be surprised if you dont get many answers to a thread in just forty-five minutes...

yes i will be GMing it, ill be NPC pilots too if i cant drum up enough interest.
the lasgun turrets are two balljoint style turrets in front of the leg sockets on the underbelly of the sentinel.
