Inquisitor RP

Mission
Very simple: the hunting and capturing or killing of a rogue inquisitor who has been branded a radical. (The reason behind his being hunted will be based on the type of inquisitor chasing after him/her.)

Characters
There is just one inquisitor, the first member to join gets this position, and the inquisitors retinue. The retinue size is to be decided by the inquisitor member, as will the brand of inquisitor. (Radical or puritan and their subcatagories, plus the ordo of the inquisitor)

Depending on the type of inquisitor, it is entirely possible for a member of the retinue to be eldar or tau. There is also the chance that retinue can include space marines, sisters, assasins, daemonhosts, or abhumans.

Wargear
1. Be reasonable: no one in their right mind would hand over a bolter to an eldar even if they would take it.(They would prefer a lasgun instead. )
2. Again, depending on the type of inquisitor leading the band will influence what can be taken: open or blunt inquisitors will be able to get anything beyond a titan while sly and secretive inquisitors will have fewer weapons and wargear to take.

I do hope the turnout for this is beyond three people, excluding myself... :cool:

Id rather not be the inquistor as i think id make a crappy leader and im not an extraordinary writer of fluff (tho i think i do alright) but i would like to reserve a spot as a part of the retinue, probably some part of the chamber militant of whatever ordo the inquistor does pick. if there a radical or some ordo that i dont know enough about then i guess i think up something else, in the meantime ill wait for someone to post inquisitor fluff to make my character, but as i said id like to reserve a spot.

Well you know I'm in, not sure I'm leadership material though, so I'll just wait this out and see if anybody else joins before I go creating any characters. Let's hope not everybody feels the same way we do about being the leader. ^_^'

Inquisitor Quass

Ordo Hereticus - Recongregator (Radical)

Of the many names whispered in the shadowed halls of the Inquisition, few are more feared then that of Inquisitor Quass. A former Acolyte of the Inquisitor Lord Jeal Veritte and only recently promoted to the rank of full Inquisitor, Quass has come to specialise in hunting down his Inquisitorial bretheren. Whenever an Inquisitor strays too far outside the light of the Emporer's guidance, it is most often Quass that is called on to bring them back, or eradicate them completely.While serving on the Black Ship "The Emperor's Shadow" as an Acolyte to Lord Veritte Quass learned how to stalk through the shadows and underground havens of the Imperium, lurking through the dark places few dare to go and hunting down heretics in the very shadows they seek refuge in.
Quass is a very dark and mysterious figure, as are all those who serve on the Emperor's Shadow. He wears a hood that perptualy hides his features in shadow and prefers to speak as little as possible. He wields a force sword and prefers to use his pistol only as a last resort, as the noise and light from the weapon draw far too much attention to his presence.Due to the nature of the missions he is assigned Quass usualy works alone, though on occasion he can be found in the company of the other forces aboard the Emperor's Shadow, such as the Sororitas Order of the Steel Rose or the forces of Lord Veritte himself.On this occasion however Quass has been tasked with leading a team assembled by the Ordo specificly for this mission.

wait a sec edicius, there are about five others going to join. give them a day to see if any are going to be the inquisitor or else its yours to take.

things that should be made clear, cause edicius's post has brought some things alight to me: the group working with the inquisitor is of their own personal staff. no hand selected from the ordo, even though some may be directly from the specific ordo. the group is free to come from anywhere in the galaxy as long as how they became a member of the team is integrated into the fluff of the inquisitors background. (wouldnt make sense if an ex-jo were the helper of a puritan malleus man for example... :cool: )

also, only members of malleus may have grey knights within the retinue under a 'special assignment' of which only two members may be knights. in addition, only two members may be space marines at all. one last thing to say: radicals are hunted by the puritans of the inquisition. (from their own ordo and of ordo malleus.) so to still be connected with the main of the ordo will not work for them.


if anyone is looking for ideas for what to put down for inquisitor then pm me, i may not play the actual game inquisitor but i do know enough about retinue organization to make it very good.

OK. Ill play the inquisitor if no one else wants too. This is my own warhammer female inquisitor

ordo: Daemon hunter (malluess)
wargear: Artificer armour, daemon sword (daemon hammer rules), boltpistol, psycannon bolts, icon of the just.
psycic powers: scourging
background: The daughter of a relitively famous inquisitor lord, she has been raised from birth training to succeed her father as an accomplished daemon hunter. While she is a novice inquisitor, having a rich and famous father gave her some impressive wargear at a time in her life when most inquisitors would have still been fighting with carapace armour and a power sword.

She has shown impressive psycic abillity from a very young age, and is a crack shot and brilliant swordsmiss. The daemon sword is an ancient family relic that she inherited from her father after his death. The sword contains a bound soul of a grey knight that slayed 300 greater daemons, it was one in a test run that involved binding the souls of dead warriors into master crafted power swords. When fighting daemons the soul awakens and the sword becomes lighter, the users movements speed up and daemons drasticly slow. The project proved a great success but a hive fleet attack caused it to be completly forgotten and out of the 10 sword that were made, her one is one of 4 that are known to have survived.

Alice has been surrounded by people that would give their lifes to her well being since she was born and her retinue is usually made up of people that would gladly jump in front of a bullet for her. No matter how much more likely she is to survive than them.
