Have you been reading white dwarf? This list looks suspiciously like the one in the september issue. The only differences are the gobbo shaman was a boss with wollopa's wunda and triksy trinket, the orc shaman was lv1, he had a doom diver and had one unit of wolf riders instead of spiders.

I like that one better but yours could also work. With only 6 power dice however i think youd be better off dropping the lv2's and investing in perhaps another rare or core choice.

Other than that, I think the list is very balanced and will be fun to play.

Even with the waaah! magic special rules, you won't have enough power dice to do much. What I would do, is drop both to level 1's, make then both Goblin shamans. One has sneaky stealin', the other has Madd Capp mushrooms. Stick him with the Fanatic unit, and he has a use.

This will save points. A doom Diver would be sweet.

In a Wyvern list, I'd be tempted to use Wolf Riders over Spider Riders. Gives you a better chance at having a crack at enemy artillery.

Also remember that your BO BSB doesn't just have a Choppa - he still gets his 'uge array of choppaz - he is a Black Orc!

Otherwise looks cool. At Tourny level, animosity is a pain, after you've tried the list out, you could have a go at swapping a Shaman for another Black Orc big boss, and join them to another unit that hasn't got one.

Or, to help with Animosity, get he Black Orc unit upto 18 strong, for 3 full ranks of 6, and join Black Orc Chars onto the Night Gobbos and Orcs. 3 solid units that won't let you down. If doing this, it might pay to increase the unit sizes a little to help out when they start dying...

The other thing that would be nice to see in a tourny list is bows of some sort. We all need an answer to fast cav. A Doom Diver could do it, but it's better used on Heavy Cav. And my last tourny experience against Wild Riders makes me sure some sort of shooting is in my lists.....

Some things to think about there. List as is - it'll work. There's solid stuff in there.

The level 2's really have not been doing much for me, I might drop them down a level, yet I am not sure about just one gobo shaman with the staff of sneaky stealing, I would also lose 2 scrolls though I would like to get in another Black Orc to my Night Gobo unit.

I have only spider riders so I won't be changing to wolf riders any time soon, though I was wondering about giving my spider riders bows, I was told they are not very good.

Not sure about a Doom Diver, thinking maybe adding 20 Night Goblin archers in instead or even a single troll or pump wagon.

Oh and my friend and I made this list, have not even looked at any White Dwarf recently. Did he win?

Short bows may not seem too good, but even if they kill 1 model, they've made the points back May as well, they are fast cav after all...

Hmm, getting archers instead of a Diver could be good I guess. They make a good body guard for your artilley, esp with a Fanatic inside.

So after a few games I changed my list around a little. I like the list that I came up with but am not sure about the Black Orc unit, I was wondering if I should swtich it out for 2 units of 25 orc Boyz with musican, banner, and light armor choppa. Then I could put the Goblin Shaman on foot and put the wolf chariot in the special slot.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

1.) I really am not a fan of how you made your Black Orc on the Wyvern, unless ur gonna be around characters the entire game the sword isnt really worth it this is how i set mine up: Black Orc Big Boss with Heavy Armor

1a.) Porkos Pig Sticka- Because if you hit a block unit you will be able to bring pain to it because if u hit a full block you will have 7 attacks at strength 6 followed up by the wyverns 3 strenght 6 attacks. That is a potential of 10 dead infantry in one combat.

2b.)Enchanted Shield- Obviously to get the 3+ armor

3c.)Warboss Best Boss 'At- I like having a lord with the Ward save because no matter how you look at it when it comes to Lord choices throughout this game orcs are very squishy, and having the ward save gives one hell of a boost.

2.)I like your Black Orc warboss but you are relying him and the unit to stay there to help you with magic which isnt the best plan but i usually give him "martogs best basha" which for 15 points is the best magic weapon in the game

3.)The Goblin big boss is a big waste of points and an easy points give away for any opponent

4.) I like the goblin shaman period.

5.) You wont need netters for your night gobbos and i rarely give any fanatics if it is under three because they wont be doing their job if you do

6.)I like the orcs and the spider riders

7.) I had to learn this the hard way and i argued for the longest time, Black Orcs look great on paper but with their points they are going to be lead around the table and picked away at by shooters and magic, i love the models and the thought of them but you can put points elsewere.

8.)The rest is good looking

I hope you didnt feel like i was being harsh but orcs are my bread and butter and i like helping people out with them. Won some big tourneys in my area with them so i like spreading the knowledge

Personally i like this build, the sword will give you at least +1 S and A, +2 if you use him well and possibly 3 or 4 if versing Vamps (happened to me). Compare this to the spear, +1 S and an average of +2 A only on the charge! Also give him either Best boss hat or Iron gnashas if you have the points to spare.

Good, put him in the boyz

Goblin, , wolf chariot, Spear - 97

Drop the chariot and put him on a wolf! The chariot makes him a big target and less manouverable. Also on a wolf, he can be put in a unit and charge out of it, surprising the enemy (I like to put him in the black orcs). With the points saved, give him Wallopas one hit wonda and brimstone bauble. Awesome combo!!

Never used it but may work. I prefer 2 scrolls in combination with the Spirit totem (6DD and 2 scrolls better than 7DD and -1PD to enemy). Personally i would put him on foot and hide him, saving points. Otherwise youre just handing the enemy an easy 165 Vp's.

The Rest is great. If you save any points from what i said, add another Blackorc/Fanatic/Squig hoppers/Nightgobbos. Whatever suits

This is a very versatile list and will be great fun to play with and against. Good luck

P.S. The battle rep was a draw in the O&G favour. Although he was versing a monster heavy dark elf list.
