night goblin great shamman
Armour of destiny
goblin big boss
light armour + sheild
Night goblin shamman
Night Goblins x92
Night Goblins x20
Night Goblins x20
spider riders x28
basic idea is run all the lords/heroes in the freaking large unit, cast gift of the spider god on that unit so they are posioning on a 5+, and ambush the spider riders into combat second turn on a flank or rear. i would have the squigs help by going on the various other flanks as protection and exploding fun.
criticism more then welcome (and greatly needed)
so far this army is 5W/2L/2D... just looking for a way to make it... better

This does look like a very fun list to play.
Unfortunatley you cannot have the Armour of Destiny on your Shaman. Wizards cannot wear armour unless it specificaly states in their rules that they can :/
You do seem to have a lot of random units (9 Fanatics and 2 manglers) running around. Do you not find these end up doing a lot of damage to your own units? I would probably consider dropping a few of the Fanatics (maybe keep 2 in the horde and 1 in each of the smaller units of NG's) perhaps use the points saved to get another Doom Diver or maybe even some Wolf Chariots.
well with themanglers, i usually use them as cannon bait/advanced troops, so by the time they hit the enemy unit, they are so far away from me i don't even notice them till around turn 5. the whole idea of the massive block is that it can take a few fanatics and still be stedfast in combat, and nothing is more scary to... well anything, then 3 fanatics flying threw my own unit into theirs while im in combat... which is usually what i do. usually, i lose around 3-4 gobos per fanatic, but with 100 models in a single unit, i could hardly care less haha. also i can't take another doom diver becuase i already have 2 (2 is max untill 3k if i am remmebering the rules properally), though the chariots are a great idea, drop the armour and get a chariot...
thanks for the idea, please keep them comming!
P.S. yes i know terrible spelling, give me a break... just woke up
If you ever play with a person that is a Fluff Nazi, they might object to having a "regular Goblin BSB" cavorting with a group of Horde Night Goblins.
5000 pts of WoC, 5000 pts of Orcs and now 3000 pts of Ogres...What was I thinking ????
i would split the really large spider rider unit up into 2, or even 3 smaller units.
snagla doesn't need to be with more than 15 of these guys. If you are with more you can't manouver normally anymore. And it is still fast cav, so movement is his thing.

what is your opinions on cutting the spider riders in half, and with the spare 50 points from the armour of destiny, take a giant?
I actually tried out a unit of 12 Spider riders ( 2x6 formation) with Snagle Gobspit last night and it worked extremelly well.
My main Orc block (containing General AND BS rolled 1 for animosity in both turns 1 and 2 and just stood in my deployment zone! The spider riders came onto the table in turn 2, on my opponents tableedge, got into the rear of his block of beastmen (containg his BS, held them up for 2 turns, Snagle killed his BSB (no more primal-fury re-rolls!) and made them flee, giving my Orc block time to get into the battle.
Next time I may try increasing there number to 18 (or 15 if points are tight) and get 3 ranks.
As for the Giant, at 200 points its a lot of points for a cannonball-magnet. I would much prefer to spend 150 on a unit of 3 Wolf Chariots. They normally do the same job of drawing war-machine fire, but, as they are more reliable and move much quicker, have a much higher chance of getting into combat Once in combat the impact hits are much more reliable damage than the Giants random table.
I was really hoping that Giants rules would get a lot more love in the new rule book, I still can't see much point in taking them. This is a shame as I love the Giant models on the table.
well considering the extra points that i have right now, what do you think about 4 chariotes, in 2 2man units?
I would split the spider riders. one bigger unit of 15 and two smaller units of 5 each. As to wolf chariots, id stick to 3 in a unit. Unless you run the 2x2units side by side. Thats a lot of impact hits. Also, the 92 strong night gob unit, id split that into two units. 40 in one and 50 in the other.
