I havent played Warhammer since the 90's
I still had a few models lying around so got the new rules and army list and thought Id see what I could make using legel units
The army I came up with is:
Orc big boss with Martogs best basher, Heavy Armour and Shield
24 night goblin archers
15 Black Orcs
15 Orc Boyz with Shield
I also have these models
10 Orc Archers
16 Savage Orcs with Shields
Goblin Big Boss
Where would you go with this army now, I think with all the above I could squeeze 1000 points out just
wow thats a long time ago hehe!
welcome back! how did you get back into this after 50ish years absence?
Your list is ok, if those are the models you have. i would strongly suggest that most units could really use a few extra models, because in the 8 th edition, numbers in a unit a really big deal, ESPECIALLY in the orcs and goblins army.
first thing i would do is add more black orcs to make 20-30, same story with the savage-, orc boyz and arrer boyz.
Martog's best basher... are you sure you have the new rulebook? i think that is from the previous armybook! the new one is hardcover and looks a little bit like this:
anyway. the rest looks solid, doom divahs are great so are fanatics and a night goblin unit to release them from a shaman is very welcome and not just for the head he's carrying.
erm welcome (back), make yerself at home.
Warchief Diggah o da Bloodmoon Squiggahs
Turns out I have the old one, I guess it wont be a great deal different at this level but will get the newer one, hope some of my old models are back in, like Gorfang Rotgut
I have always had the models lying around in a box, just stumbled on it, plus I read the books which keeps me interested
