    [2500] Orc/gobo list-please rate

    Please rate/give me feedback on my 2500pt list for a up coming game. Its against a Chaos player who will definitely be using 1 unit of furies,1 unit bloodletters, probably a unit of 10 chosen knights. and 3 units of maraurders. 2 chariots

    you can only take one arcane item on your lord so you will have to choose between buzgobs staff and double doo dahs,
    personally i prefer the staff, but thats just me
    and id drop the bullies so thats another 10 points and use those 35 to get another spear chukka

    Where's the rule that you can only take 1 arcane item? And I can't take another spear chukka because I don't have another special slot available in a 2500 pts game.

    rulebook, magic items, page 153.
    im not sure if im allowed to quote it so ill just say its under arcane items

    forgot about the special slots so how about taking off his dispel scroll as well and then giving him mad cap mushrooms,
    leaving the bullies on, that leaves you with 15 points which can be spent on adding onto the goblin units

    Removed DooDah's and the scroll and added Madcaps. I have the option now of keeping the Stone Trolls or switching them to Leadbelchers. I figure I could also remove one unit of wolf riders and make it 4 leadbelchers? I know i'm facing a severe amount of infantry/daemons.

    im not a huge fan of leadbelchers, although they can have an amazing amount of shots alot of them tend to miss so even with 4 you might get 30 shots and only 12 hit,
    and you might get alot fewer shots like only 6 and a misfire (unlikely to get 3 2s but still) and then thats even fewer hits. too unpredictable.
    although trolls are also unpredictable but you can control stupidity with a hero or the generals LD.
    i like trolls however because they have S5 so the same armour modifier and its easier to wound, they last longer because of the magic res and regeneration.
