    2000pts of night goblins

    so here is my 2000pt list, i'm saving for it now

    not sure if this is possible but maybe move some points around and get 2 units of 39 ng with ur lord in 1 and the bsb in theother then 2 of 30 and run ur shamans right nextto them

    I think you should take the Great Shaman before a warboss, you will need acces to the Big Waaagh ! to do some serious damage. (foot and warpath! )

    Also, those rerolls come in very handy with the spear chukkas.

    The LD is gonna kill you. A goblin army takes up alot of space and with the low leadership once one unit panics it will cause a chain effect throughout your army. It'll be a fun list to play but you will lose alot.

    BTW I'm not a big fan of special characters but if you want a high leadership general in a night goblin army consider Snarsnik and Gobbla. If there is a ok special character out there to take it's them and they give you decent leadership at 8 but still takes the lord slot (and a hero) so you still can't take the big Waaagh.

    it takes alot to make a unit of goblins panic. with a bigger unit, it will take alot of shooting or magic to make them flee.

    Plus, your units of goblins are mainly used to tarpit your opponent while our magic and shooting does the most of the killing.

    If you want a Great Shaman but to still hod onto LD 7 it would be worth considering making that bigboss a common goblin. Of course then there's the teansy rule that says general can't be BSB, but if you up the warboss to a shaman and then make a lesser shaman (maybe the common gob) a common big boss, then you get an LD 7 30some point general.

    I disagree. There are a lot of things that can make a big unit panic. And once night goblins panic they usually don't rally and drag your shamans off the board.

    Things that easily panic a unit of 40 night goblins.

    Terror
    Hellblaster
    unit of 3 salamanders
    Leadblechers
    Curse of years
    Flames of the phoenix
    2 chariot charge
    Fast cav flank charge

    These are all things that can happen early in the game.

    It's great fluff though so I encourage it. However if you want the list to be more solid go for the Higher LD rather then the big Waagh. Remember what miscasts do in O&G.
