[2000] Goblin Horde

It seems to me that most, if not all, gobblin list I've seen so far are all night goblin based. So here I am, with a stack of gnoblars taller than an ogre, so I thought I might as well make a common goblin horde out of those buggers! I am still debating wether or not I should include a Goblin Warboss with the Big Red Banner for a whooping 9, or just stick to leadership 8.

Anyway, here's what I came up with:

it loosk godo you are bringing some serious magic power with youthere and i like the spear chuckas they are awsome haw they can penatrate ranks i(i love spear chuckas) and you can afford for your giant to fall on your troops but you are taking alot of points on those goblin magicians which will likely blow up or get killed in battle (because you will be using their magic powers i bet) so thay will have to be moving up with your trops
but i think it looks okay
but maby drop 2 spear chuckas mob up your gobli squads to the max they pretty much can go in at least 40 per squad though if you can cause they will die really fast and you bosses will likely get killed so you need high numbers to get outnumbering bonus and to keep from flleeing

Nice army list (I like the idea of having 6 character in an army :ninja: )
I would maybe drop 2 spear chukka for a wolf chariot, mostly because I like chariot and they can give you a little punch on the charge.

2 Giants is over the top ? I could squeese in some trolls instead a nice unit of 4 ? I could always get the pump wagon again, but I find it fragile.

I've seen a similar list played, and it seemed like a win/lose kind of thing. Either the guy would win hands down or lose hands down. As soon as those gobbos have to take a leadership test, the whole thing can go to pot.

Then again, I've seen another guy play an all goblin list that had a lot of chariots in it, and he kicked butt with it (but he's the kind of guy who builds lists for no other reason than playing in tourneys--intense about everything with the game).

Eh, sounds like me ^_^

I am debating as to either include a warboss with the big red raggedy banner for a crazy leadership of 9. but this would make me loose the acces to the big waaagh!, and drop me to 8 power dice if I include another shaman.

I guess I'll have to include the big raggedy red banner against, and stay with an 8 ?

Lastly, would 12 power dice be over the top ?

If you're building a smack-down list, 12 power dice isn't too much.

I guess a BSB isn't worth it since rerolling any lost combats on, what, ld 7 minus combat res wouldn't work often.

I play a 2000pts Night Goblin army with 12 Power Dice, and it rocks. Throw in a BSB with the banner that lets you ignore 1 animosity test, and you're sorted.

I would however recommend one of the following for your army; more chariots as has been said above. Or more goblins. I've got close to 300 models in my army though, and I have units of minimum 40 models. Most of mine are at 50.

Can't go wrong with lots and lots of goblins!
