i guess youre going for the straight up combat style. You didn't want any long range shootas? your list hits hard... but they will be slow (except the wagons and spiders) maybe add a doom diver... or some chukkas. those fanatics will mess some knights up and other strong units ... but remember they can also mess you up as well... be careful with deployment with all those fanatics.
whats your plan with the bows?... you'll be hitting most units on 5s and thats only if you don't move that turn... maybe use them as charge directors... but i'd drop them to 20 man units. you definatley have a lot of units... to challenge flankers and such.... which is good. and that giant is a nice add as well.
Looks like you'll hit hard enough when you get to close combat, but like i said, think about some ranged attacks as well....just a thought.
I plan to use the archers as bait. Ill set one of them up as 8 x 3 and make them seem like they are for shooting, then ill have some fanatics hit. I feel that if I take them as units of 20, it is more suspect to being a fanatic trap.
Long range shooting is definitely a concern. I have a doomdiver, but I have 2 old edition pump wagons and they just look so dang cool...
How do you feel about the hero choices?
Your characters definatly follow the theme of your army. They hit HARD. I like the scroll gobbo... obviously a strickly magic defensive shaman.... i like the staff of sneaky stealin' myself.. but i run 2 lvl 2 shamans... one with 2 scrolls and the other with the stealin' staff...
but your characters look fine to me... lots of high strength
