Welcome to Librarium Online!
Have just been looking through the new O&G armies book and came up with an interesting set up for my black orc lord,
Black Orc Warboss
- Basha's Bloodaxe
- Enchanted Shield
- Maad's Map
- Heavy Armour
This would give him at least 5 attacks a turn, he would be immune to psychology, have a 3+ armour save and be (most of the time) scouting.....
Not very nice for war machines, enemy mages etc,
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares, your a mile away and you have his shoes!!
Chuck Norris invented water
I would say that this looks awesome as long as you're playing at least 3000 points. If you go any lower than that you are basically putting your general on the opposite side of the board, which can be crippling for a greenskin army.
Looks mean and appealing on paper, for sure. This character would definitely be a menace to warmachines and lone characters, but could also potentially be taken down with relative ease. This guy can bring a lot of hurt to bear, for sure, but against a fully-ranked unit, would likely lose combats just from static CR.
over all, yeah, on paper its not that good, cause your army doesnt have any good leadership around, and static CR can beat the crap out of you. however, i have used the same build to crippiling effect. especially if you roll a 6 for extra attacks. hahaha. yeah, basically he charges out into the flank of grail knights, and compleltly wipes the floor with them. he died the next turn to shooting, but he singlehandly destroyed the unit, and the general was in there, so it was like 700 or more points, so yeah, its fun to use cause its unpredictable, but wouldnt recommend it
