Hi I have had a painted orcs and goblin army I built two years ago that I have never played with gathering dust on my shelf I have just decided to resurrect them and went out and bought a orc shaman war boss a unit of black orcs and two spear chukkers. the current list I am devising is 1500pts and is a mainly foot slogging army and mainly orc as 50% of my opponents play elves I am a bit limited in what I can use.
But my four questions are.
When do you guys use your warrrrrgh.
How do you use orc magic to hurt the enemy or support your army.
Are spear chukers/rock lobbers effective
And do you take the orc bully option.
Any other advice would also be helpful my previous army was vampire counts but I kept losing so I thought I should try something new for a while.
I've used my Waaaagh when i need to either close distance fast or couldn't get a big charge off otherwise.
I've yet to manage to get 'mork wants ya' to pick off an enemy character, though the big magic spell 'waaaagh' fundamentally lets you waaaagh twice a game (if you can manage to get the spell off), the foot of gork is also fun.
Spear Chukka's i've had amazing luck with, managed to skewer a whole empire rifleman unit once. Orc Bullies are decent to have around if you're going up against a much faster army or if you're having to deal with a lot of shooting (you could, of course, stick a bully in there with the chukka and put goblin/night goblin bowmen around it so that war machine crew will stay).
hEY MAN, I'll tell you about the funniest O+G model ever.........
