I wondered how succesful an only orc army would act and this is where I got to...
black orc big boss
battle standard bearer
- Morks-spirit totem
orc big boss
- martogs best basha
- warboss imbads iron gnashas
2 dispell scrolls
20 orc arrer boyz
20 0rc boyz
20 orc boyz
orc boar chariot
that would leave me with 17 pts left,
how should i spend it? should i get rid of a unit of boyz for a unit of black orcs?

H - Black orc Big Boss - Heavy Armour, Shield, Warboss imbads iron gnashas
H - Orc Big Boss - Battle Standard Bearer - Light Armour, Horn of Urgok
H - Shaman - Lvl 2 Dispel Scroll, Nibbla's itty ring
C - 24x Boyz - Shields, Full Command
C - 20x Boyz - Extra Hand Weapons, Full Command
S - Orc Boar Chariot
S - Orc Boar Chariot
R - 2x Trolls
The Black orc has better combat stats and the Ard to da teef wont work with the standard. The Horn increases leadership and the ring will help u hit characters and will help ur magic phase.
but the Black orc in the bigger unit so he doesnt kill too many quelling animosity
The trolls are ok, you could go with some Artillery or another chariot
Just thought I'd chime in on this: the Armed to da Teef rule certainly works with the standard. The rules state that a BSB cannot take any additional mundane equipment, not that he loses any that he already has. This actually gives a Black Orc BSB a great advantage over those of many other races, as he still has the ability to deal some decent damage without having to forego a magic standard by taking a magic weapon.
Just imagine the banner pole to be a REALLY 'uge choppa!
Welcome to LO! I like the name.
I personally would swap the arrer boyz for some black orcs. The arrer boyz aren't al that effective exceot as a bodyguard for any war machines. Your other option is a unit of big 'uns, or to upgrade one of the units you have to big uns. Besdides this, your army should work nicely.
I'd just like to add one more thing though, it goes against GW copyright to post points costs for individual models, like you've done with the boar chariot. Similarly, putting eg. unit of 20 generic troops: 100 pts, is similarly frowned upon, as the points cost can be easily worked out. However, putting:
20 0rc boyz
like you've done is fine. You can edit your post by clicking the edit button on the bottom right corner of your post.
Nibbla's itty ring works well if you want to equip him to the hilt.
Edit: Explaining slightly more clearly:
As armed to da teef = extra attacks if you went 2x choppa's, you get +1 str on the 1st round anyway (choppa's), and the Black orc's ws7 is the same as a orc boss +1. Plus your unit doesn't have animosity problems.

Adeptus Mechanicus Marines: http://www.librarium-online.com/foru...ml#post1655065
Thats true- I didn't pick up on the earlier. Crunchy's idea is a good one.
Quell animosity deals dmg (d6 str 5 hits to the unit)
So if ur stacking the bosses beef up the unit strength or u will kill ur own unit b4 it sees contact.
And the BSB thing, your sure he can use extra hand weapon while using the banner or use great weapon, doesnt make sense really but if it works go with it.
Thats true, you still have to be careful of the animosity. Though if it means not getting shot at for an extra turn, its pretty much swings and roundabouts.
The BSB CAN use 2 choppas/GW if he is a B orc, they come as standard and there is nothing saying he cannot.
Now i need to find 15 points from somewhere to upgrade my Orc to a black orc
