IN my list I keep giving my Goblin bigbosses some upgrades. But then I realize, is it really worth it. or should i just keep him stock... It seems easy to just give him lots of stuff, but then i think, hmm I could just keep him stock and put a bunch more goblins into my list. What do you guys do with your goblin bigbosses.
For one of my goblin bigbosses I give him brimstone bauble and wallopas one hit wunda just so i can try to slam him into a really tough unit and try to get his points worth. I plan on keeping him in a block of night gobbos and taking him out to hit in the flank so he doesnt hit my whole unit if he dies.
Just curious what you guys use. Because you can easily double their points when you upgrade them but not sure if its the best to do that to all of them.
To be honest a gobbo BB is generally best used as a bomb to chase down WMs, or deal with anything nasty that you don't want to send da boyz after. I don't tend to use them much as orcs are much more itty and can stand up to that little bit more than a gobbo.
(They also make excellent wizard hunters)
Glue a bead on the end of their weapon and make them shamans =)
The only Goblin Bigboss worth his hero slot is the one you described, except put him on a wolf instead of walking him up, then you can deliver the wunder anywhere you like!
The only goblin characters i use are shamans, apart from i've used skarnisk once or twice.
My `wunder` guy is a night goblin big boss on a cave squig.
I`m still building up my force and dont have many orcs yet. Eventually i will probably not have many goblin big bosses, taking orcs for leadership and fightyness and then taking both orcs and night goblin shamans.
