For the past 2 years I have been running I pure Orc army led by a Black Orc Warboss.
And i simply use shere number of orcs (120 boyz), and 40 black orcs to overwhelm the enemy, and my Warboss eat anything that isnt some insane unit/character of death. And the list has work with moderate success mainly because my main opponent happens to be a pansy wood elf player.
Although i still love this highly entertaining list, i want to switch it up. And I need some help figure out what to take.
Here are some things im wanna stick by:
-The Lord is going to be a lvl 4 Orc Greater Shaman (savage or not? which is better?)
im thinking give the lord the Skull Wand, Amulet of Protecyness, and Kicking Bootz, and watch any one foolish enough try to accept or challenge him. (suck magic Khornate Lord of Death!) But I am also open to other ideas
-Although I basically have every type of O&G, due to my lack of ability to make Leadership rolls for Gobbos, i refuse to take them unless im doing a themed army. So i still want my core to consist of all boyz. I make exceptions to spider riders and wolf riders just because they are so useful. And every general needs scouts. So how many units of what types of boyz i should take?
Other than that, i have no able to figure out what kind of army would work. Please contribute to how I might make an all Orc list led by a Greater Orc Shaman work.

Even though you say you dont like goblins, i would still recomend a few squads to add versitility to your WAAAHG. And in those squads take a few fanatics they are fun to use.
i don't know that advice to give you about orcs because i play all gobbos
Orcs are usually best going forward as you've been doing. Sounds like a fun army to play!
If you are going over to a Shaman its worth considering probably 2 or more other shamans to get the casting dice pool up. 1 Shaman only can usually get dispelled.
It will be interesting to see how you do without your big bad boy up front.

Will echo BBO and say that you'll need 2 other shamans, plus your BSB, to whom I'd give the horn of urgok, take him as a black orc and stick him in a unit of big uns with 2 choppas in a 6x4 formation. Give the unit banner of butchery for some fun killing. This, plus your black orcs (1 unit should be enough, but won't say no to 2) gives you a nice, non-animositous core. One of the other 2 shamans should have the itty ring too. So useful!
The skull wand is not good. You don't hit often enough with it and Ld is generally too high to worry. The amulet is nice, Waaaagh! paint is also a useful addition, but if you want him real choppy give him Shaga's screaming sword. This is a very nasty item at 2k and above, and is a LOT better than some of the other magic weapons.
A couple of units of night gobbos is always useful to protect flanks with fanatics, you can also stick a NG shaman in there for that little bit of extra magic. Other than that, maybe one unit of boyz with shield and choppa, the rest I'd take with 2 choppas, maybe a unit of savage big uns too! Thats the sort of composition I usually use.
