Me and a friend are soon going to be playing a fairly large game, 5000 points each, maybe more. I play Greenskinz and he plays Dark Elves. Any predictions or comments in general would be appreciasted, thanks
Oh please play just goblins! And give us pics. That would be hilarious seeing that many little gobbos on one table!
Good luck however you choose play.

1. Get a bucket.
2. Fill it with goblins.
3. Realise you need more goblins.
4. Throw away bucket. Find a skip!
His magic phase will be nasty. A unit of 40-50 bozy with MSTotem will help. As will the odd great shaman. Take one of each type (1 gobbo, 1 orc). A warboss on wyvern is good fun. Take shaga's screaming sword (always a steal at high points) and possibly amulet of protectyness. Then throw him at the biggest, hardest units you can find. The more characters the better almost!
Take a few bolt throwers and similar to try to hit hydras etc. on the first turn, but you'll be wanting to cast Waaagh! quite a bit, so be prepared to write them off. Harpies will also se to them quickly.
Grimgor is a nice character to lead the army, you could also have a night goblin flank led by S+G, his prodder is again of considerable boost at big games where there WILL be a large no. of units arund. Plus the annoyance caused by the tricksy traps will be more prevalent.
So there are a few tips. Units can be bigger than normal, closer to 30 in most cases. Fanatics can be taken by the bucket, gobbos by the skipful. Good luck!
He could take 5 hydras. If he does, make out you're ill and quickly run for it
I had a 5,000 point game v's High Elves, loads of fun. I had 21 fanatics that game
You could try to take lots of magic yourself, and some hard hitting units (chariots, sav orcs) Cast the Waaagh and watch your whole army ASF and reroll misses. But if you try this, you won't want to have any war machines
thanks for the advice guys, i am taking a lot of magic, he is not taking a lot though, we are trying to use as many models as we possibly can, without proxying any, when we do play this game though, there will be pcitures, probably after each half turn, so we can see how both sides moved and attacked
Out of interest what size table are you playing on?
you need at least 8ft x 4ft to deploy that many O&G
oh yea, we haven't really decided yet. We are not even positive on the date of the game, we may end up putting multiple boards together though. I also recently got the Grumlok & Gazbag model. I will definitely use him, regardless of a lack of rules. i will just use him as a warboss though, not also as a goblin shaman. I did have 2 questions that i hope you guys can help me with. I was wondering if anybody had heard anything about rules for the two, and if there are even going to be any. Also, is he an Orc warbsos or a Black orc, i have seen both, though i was fairly certain one was a typo. Thanks in advanced guys
I've never heard of him, I'm afraid. Certainly can't see him in my old army books.
he was in the WAR collector's edition, one of my friends gave it to me, i believe it is a collector's model
