Spell 6 of the big Waaagh! has a spell called Waaagh!, which states that every unbroken friendly unit moves 2D6 towards nearest enemy unit. Now, does this spell affect fanatics too?
That would be awesome, plus don't fanatics count as having 360 degree line of sight?
also, if this spell does affect fanatics, if they roll a double for this extra movement (in the magic phase) do they die?
I hope this spell does affect fanatics, and i don't see why not!
IIRC, the Orcs and Goblin FAQ says the spell affects them the same way as every other unit, and if they roll doubles, they don't die, but they have to move toward the nearest enemy unit.
I don't remember if it stated the nearest unit had to be visible or not, so it might end up biting you in the backside.
It's the nearest enemy unit. If that means your opponent has skirmishers on a hill, your fanatic hits the side and dies.

I have 2 related Qs=
1. Do hills not count as openground for the purposes of movement? Would this therefore not kill the fanatic?
2. When rolling the waaaagh! move, does a double still kill the fanatic?
1. Hills kill Fanatics
2. During a Waaagh, double don't count. The fanatics stay alive.
Wait, so even when you use your regular Waaagh! fanatics move towards the nearest enemy unit? That doesn't seem right.
No more NG spearmen, thanks! Now I need some pump-wagons!
I was meaning for the spell. They don't move as part of the animosity waaagh.
