Just a quick one: does an enemy character get the strength penalty from successful netters (or vice versa) as long as the unit he's in is the netter's target? Or because the characters are fighting separate, are they excluded?
Thanks in advance
I think that challengers are excluded...
Although, does the gobbo unit champ count as having a Net? If so, and if its him that is in the challenge, then the nets will work.
Nah, it's just a unit upgrade, the exact wording being: at the start of each combat phase, a unit that contains nets must attempt to entangle one of the units they're fighting. I think it just comes down to whether a character in a challenge is part of a unit or not
In which case, Challengers are affected, as they are part of the unit they have joined (if alone they are their own unit, so you can target them individually).
Yeah im pretty sure thats how its done, well at least thats how me and my regular opponent do it atleast

Challengers are affected by nets, as per above. They are apart of the unit, and are therefor affected in the same manner as the rest. Think of any "effect unit spells" the characters aren't excused by the effects.
