It's obvious how the Skull Wand would work against Characters, but how would it work against a unit?
The skull wand's description states that for each successful hit the victim must pass a leadership test or be slain instantly. So for example, my Savage Orc shaman has 2 attacks, +1 by being in a unit using Nogg's banner, for a total of 3 attacks. Attacking against an opposing unit of lets say 20. All three of these attacks hit, does this mean that for each hit a leadership test must be passed or else a single model is immediately slain for each hit?
So in short:
3 attacks with Skull Wand
3 leadership tests
2 failed, 1 passed
2 models slain
Is this correct?
Yes, this is correct.
