I have been wanting to play warhammer fantasy for several years now and have recently gotten enough money to finally start doing it. To get started I want to put together a 500 point all regular goblin army that I could eventually build off of. I have already bought 2 goblin regiments but I am unsure where to go from there. I was thinking wolf riders, chukkas, and a wolf chariot thrown in for good measure. I would also add that I am totally ignorant to equipping my characters with special items, so any help with that would be greatly appreciated. I am open to any suggestions so please set me straight!
i have to log out but heres some vital stuff:
if your using normal goblins, add some night goblin regiments, and a few fanatics, theyre worth the points against any enemy, they just have better options.
Get 2 spear chukkas, no matter what army you will make, it will definetly have 2 of these cheap suckers. its our best weapon against large targets, and those are found plenty in the tournaments of today. (greater deamons, steam tanks, dragons, giants)
a doomdiver is a valuable piece of artillery. unless your planning on adding 2 giants, id suggest at least 1 doomdiver

Thanks a lot! I was hoping to avoid using night goblins because of the theme and because I'm not too fond of how the new models look, but it seems that based on what you've said and several tactics that i've read that it's unavoidable. Eh whatever, I have a soft spot for fanatics any ways.
If you don't like night gobbos, you can keep them to a min just having them naked + shortbows and as many fanatics as you want. Really, you will end up with all of those units, simply because they're all useful, but for priority (depending on play style): spear chukkas, chariot/fast cav, shamans. With 2 gobbo units at the moment, I'd say the chukkas are more important than night gobbos.
