so, not a comp list, thought it would be fun to make a all cav army (doom divers are "AIR CAV" )
Both goblin hereos go with the wolf unit and create a mini deathstar unit for one turn.
squigs are there to annoy, along with spiders to block and flank charge, while boar units follow in behind wolfs and try and split army.
Firstly, this should realy be in the army list section.
Unless your expecpting to come up against massed ranks i would drop the pig sticker, instead give gim martogs best basher for a cheaper all round goodness. He has an extra attack from boots anyway. Ulags akrit axe is also a posibility for a few more points than the basher but its a matter of being able to reroll to hit all the time and being S6 in first round of combat or always being S6. Give him Umm's best boss at, you need a ward save and this is it. Thats 225pts on boar with armour and shield.
Just incase you didnt know, your savage Orc Big Boss only gets +1 strength from using a great weapon on a mount.
Swap both your goblins for shamans, orc or goblin, goblin would probably be best and keep them on wolves. I say this for 2 reasons;
1) you have no magic defense
2) a wolf rider death star is not going to work. the idea you should be looking at if you had ample magic defense would be to mount a goblin on a wolf and give him the one hit wounder and brimstone baubles. this guy would then charge 18" out of a unit into something like a greater daemon (mork willing he passes his terror test), hopefully getting a hit and wound before dieing and exploading to cause even more damage. also goo against things like lone wizards or lords etc. But anyway, decide if its worth making the shamans lvl 2 or not and ensure there is at least 1 if not 2 dispel scrolls between them. If you go lvl 2 then Nibblas itty ring is a must as it gives you a bound spell.
Drop the FC on the spider riders and give them both just a musician, these guys are only going to do good sweeping in from the sides of units or shooting, so the banner and boss are lost points. if there are point left when your all done then maybe consider a boss but not a banner. (banner cost 100 victory points if captured by opponent).
Break the wolf unit up. 12 strong at the very max if your using them as shock cavalry, but i would make them likt the spider riders if you didnt already have spider riders.
Put a boss in the Boar Boys, this is a unit where every attack counts. You will aslo have to choose between the boar boys and savage boar boys as to which you want as big uns, as only one unit per army can be big uns.
Gotta love Squiggs.
Not too sure on the doom divers, would rather see 4 pump wagons in a cavalry list but whatever suits you.
- 10 savage boar biguns would cost more than the listed 210
close to 400 or so
- nightgoblin BB may not ride a wolf.thats a vanilla goblin mount only.
