So the steam tank has got a nice lil boost and now is a pain in the tail to deal with so how do we handle this thing i have only thout of one way.
Savage orc warboss mounted on a boar in a unit or on his own on a wyvern with the waaagh cleava = here stank have 4-5 wounds
i Personly think that on a boar is your best bet wile a wyvern is faster the boar alows you to join units and sence the stank wit=ll most likely be trundling along at a good speed twored you the xtra speed is not really needed. any how let me know if you guys have any other ideas.
I allways found the steamtank a pain allready, now it is still annoying, but without the terror i think il mind it less. Its also not immune to magic at the moment, and that can work both ways. Use your spells against it before the enemy buffs it up.
Gork'l fix it and then 'eadbutt or Gaze of Gork, or large regiments of goblin bowmen.
One-hit wunda is perhaps a onehit shot, but the first hits on the stank are the most important ones and will slow it down considerably.
Warchief Diggah o da Bloodmoon Squiggahs
i am sure things like 'mork wants ya' but that may not be so reliable, though magic wise the goblin gaze may be a little more dependable. from what i understand about the stank is that it really loses a lot of its pepper once you get it below 6 wounds (saving the hume didn't take lore of life). the doom diver is a viable option, d6 s5 no armor saves is enough to put the hurt on (so long as you can roll a few 6s). the only other idea i had was just to charge a few chariots at it and hope that you can get enough impact hits in there, mind you, i think the best way to deal with it is to do so with less points than it cost for your opponent to bring it (for example, 2 doom divers).
rock lobba is probably a good bet, strength 9 under the hole doing d6 wounds, if ur lucky thats only 2 shots needed
Feel free to add me, but message that you're from here
The Skull Wand might work. It says it's OWN leadership. Seeing as you're hitting the STank itself and the not the commander. I'm not exactly how it works in combat, but I think it'd work similarly to a Screaming Bell/Furnace maybe?
