Which is better for fast cavalry purposes....Wolf riders or spider riders???
Which do you use the most and why???
I found that if there is little wooded terrain that wolf riders are better due to the added flanking speed and ability to go from one place to another very quickly. However spider riders are good if you want them to be on the cheap and able to completely ignore woods.
So with those guys (wolf riders) you hit for the flanks of the enemies. I use to put them in the front to protect my orcs advancing but....
what does your army contain most of the times???
Orcs, borcs, trolls....
I like to use a unit of 5 wolf riders with bows and spears and a unit of 5 spider riders with bows and spears (for a 2k army). Not knowing what terrain or who i will be facing, it works out well. I use them on the flank for either a flank attack or to target artillery.
